Hunan Kemeida Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “KMD”) was founded in 1997 and wholly owns two subsidiaries: Hunan Kemeida Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Kemeida Intelligent New Technology Co., Ltd. KMD specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of industrial magnetic equipment, rail transit equipment, and intelligent coiling systems, as well as machine vision applications and robotic automation. Recognized as a National-Level Electromagnetic Industry R&D and Design Center, a National-Level “Specialized and Sophisticated” Little Giant Enterprise, and a National Quality Benchmark Enterprise, KMD has undertaken two National Torch Program projects and one Innovation Fund project. It also serves as a drafting unit for the national standards of lifting electromagnets, electromagnetic stirrers, and guides for energy efficiency assessment of continuous casting process, and is the primary drafter of the industry standard for hot-rolled mandrel. Currently, KMD holds total assets of RMB 1.1 billion, occupies 65,000 m² of standardized facilities, and employs nearly 900 staff. With 143 patents (including 22 invention patents) and 31 software copyrights, KMD has obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, EN 15085, and ISO 3834-2 certifications, while its products are certified as CE of Europe and CSA of USA. Serving over 1,200 clients worldwide—including Baowu Steel, MCC, CITIC, Valin Steel, CSSC, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences—KMD’s products are widely used in steel metallurgy, rail transit, engineering machinery, and ports, and are exported to more than 50 countries, including the USA, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, and India.
